Great leftist print of probably the most famous — and most stirring — quote by Karl Marx: “Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains, and a world to gain.” And it’s here on this repro of a November 1911 issue of The Masses magazine, a publication devoted to socialist politics and worker’s rights that wound up going out of business after federal prosecutors brought charges against its editors for trying to stop military conscription.
